Survivors' Day 2008HighlightsOur keynote speaker is Christine Stevens, who is an internationally acclaimed music therapist, author, and former director of Music Therapy and Wellness Programs for REMO, Inc, the world's largest drum company. She will be presenting a program entitled "Reviving Rhythms" and will lead participants in an energizing and unifying experience using rhythm and music for health. Christine is described as a true pioneer in the integration of music and medicine and I'm sure her presentation will help to make our event a true celebration. You can learn more about Christine at her website. The program is still in the planning stages. The invitation mail date is set for May 1st, and we will soon be seeking additional volunteers for tasks both prior to and day of Survivors Day, 2008. Please check back after May 1, 2008 for more information. If you are interested in donating a door prize or your time, please contact Martha Laatsch, the Community Outreach Coordinator at mlaatsch@med.umich.edu.
