Social Work

The adult and pediatric oncology social work staff is a vital part of your health care team

Adult and pediatric oncology social work staff are available to help address the numerous practical matters that you may face throughout your treatment. The social work staff can provide:
  • Information on community resources
  • Information and assistance in obtaining discounted lodging, transportation and meal vouchers
  • Decision-making assistance regarding alternative living arrangements, including extended care or hospice
  • Access to financial counseling and/or assistance with out-of-pocket expenses related to cancer treatment

The adult and pediatric oncology social work staff is available to assist you with these and many other issues.
