PERC Staff

The Patient Education Resource Center (PERC) is coordinated by librarian Ruti Volk, M.S.I., and staffed by a team of dedicated volunteers.

The PERC is part of the Patient Support Services department of the Cancer Center, directed by Karen Hammelef, M.S., the Cancer Center's Health Educator.

Hours of Operation

We are open Monday-Thursday 9am - 7pm, Friday 9am - 5pm and Saturday 10am - 1pm. Please let patients know that we will be open during these times.

Please keep in mind that the PERC is staffed with student volunteers between the hours of 5-7pm and on Saturdays, therefore it is possible that we will not be able to maintain these hours during academic vacations.
