Candle Lighting for Hope & Remembrance
Saturday, September 21, 2013Anyone who has experienced the loss of a loved one due to cancer is invited to attend this annual event. Candles are lit in memory of those lost and as testament to our hope and committment that cancer and blood disorders will be conquered.
Shared burdens get a little lighterFollow the transitions of loss through art, music and readings. Listen as families share stories of their loved ones. View the Remembrance DVD of submitted photos. Display a treasured memento of your loved one. Light a candle in memory of those lost -- and as testament to our hope and commitment that cancer and blood disorders will be conquered.
Participants are encouraged to bring small mementos and photographs to be displayed during the ceremony.
