Candle Lighting for Hope & Remembrance

Saturday, September 22, 2012

Anyone who has experienced the loss of a loved one due to cancer is invited to attend this annual event. Candles are lit in memory of those lost and as testament to our hope and committment that cancer and blood disorders will be conquered.

This year's event is still in the planning stages. Please check back again to learn more as the date of the event gets closer.

Shared burdens get a little lighter

Follow the transitions of loss through art, music and readings. Listen as families share stories of their loved ones. View the Remembrance DVD of submitted photos. Display a treasured memento of your loved one. Light a candle in memory of those lost -- and as testament to our hope and commitment that cancer and blood disorders will be conquered.

Participants are encouraged to bring small mementos and photographs to be displayed during the ceremony.

Three ways to remember your loved one:

Submit a photo for the Remembrance DVD.

Learn more on our Remembrance DVD Submission: Information and Instructions web page.
