Survivors Celebrate with The Art of Survival

On Sunday, June 13, 2004, more than 350 people attended the University of Michigan Comprehensive Cancer Center's annual Cancer Survivors' Day Celebration - The Art of Survival.

	Guests were greeted by Therapaws of Michigan, Inc. (left) Breast cancer survivor, Anne Wennhold (below - left), spoke about how art had impacted her Journey Toward Healing. Wennhold then encouraged the audience to pick up their crayons and create their own art work (below)
Guests created a graffiti wall mural (above, above-right, and below) . . .
	. . . viewed art work (above and below left)
	and sampled the many interactive art stations: Chrysalis Community Cancer Help Program and the Michigan Association of Art Therapists (above)
