The musicians and dancers of Rhythm Quest Drum and Dance Troupe, have been studying and performing the traditional and popular rhythms and dances of West African and Caribbean countries (including Guinea, Senegal, Ghana, Cuba, Haiti) for a number of years. Some members have traveled to Africa to study, and all members have studied with teachers who have come here from Africa.

Troupe members love this music and are deeply respectful of the traditions and healing power they represent. Some members also teach, so further study is available to anyone interested.

Many members of the Troupe practice other Healing Arts - Occupational Therapy, Massage Therapy, Music Therapy, Reiki and Qi-Gong. The Troupe feels a responsibility to share the healing and joy that comes with performing and teaching this music. Rhythm Quest Drum and Dance Troupe are very excited about being a part of the Cancer Survivor's Day Celebration.
