9th Annual Spring to Life Blooms with Success!

Ford Motor Company generously sponsored the Spring to Life brunch - an incredible array of culinary creations prepared by The Common Grill, Cousins Heritage Inn, Food For All Seasons, The Moveable Feast and Chef Gary Danko.

Volunteer Appreciation Awardees
Paul Cousins of Cousins Heritage Inn and Cheri Rehkopf of Fine Flowers. Other awardees included Pat Cousins; John Ozga of Fine Flowers; Aileen Schulze, benefit coordinator and volunteer; and Chris Triola and Bonnie Bona of the Chris Triola Showroom.

Ann Arbor Mayor Ingrid Sheldon was among the 500 guests and volunteers gathered at Washtenaw Community College on Sunday, April 18, to support the U-M Compre-hensive Cancer Center. This year's event raised more than $200,000 through private and corporate donations.

Silent auction winners Stan and Bernice Turner take home "Rainbo-Lizard" donated by Dan Day of Distinctive Designs In Steel and "Spring Lilacs" donated by J. Coates. More than 150 galleries and artists donated art for the auction.
