Home > Newsroom > Publications > Progress Spring, 2000 Index News Archive - Progress Newsletter Spring 2000 OnlineFord Motor Company Partners with U-M Cancer Center for Spring to Life Benefit The University of Michigan Comprehensive Cancer Center and Ford Motor Company have joined forces to host the 10th annual Spring to Life brunch and art auction, which will be held at noon on Sunday, April 2, at the Morris Lawrence Building on the campus of Washtenaw Community College.
The benefit committee has been gathering a beautiful variety of art, including photography, jewelry, glass and paintings for this year's auction. Look for preview showings throughout March at the Selo/Shevel, DeBoer and Chris Triola galleries in downtown Ann Arbor and at Jacobson's in the Briarwood Mall. The always-incredible brunch will be prepared by The Common Grill, Food for All Seasons, The Moveable Feast and Cousins Heritage Inn. Tickets for this year's event are $90/person ($65 tax-deductible gift) as a Donor, $150/person ($125 tax-deductible gift) as a Sponsor, and $250/person ($225 tax-deductible gift) as a Benefactor. Proceeds benefit cancer research and patient care programs at the U-M.
