Survivor's Day: Swinging Toward a Cure

More than 400 cancer survivors, families, friends and health care providers from communities throughout Michigan were Swinging Toward the Cure at the University of Michigan Comprehensive Cancer Center's Survivors' Day celebration in Ann Arbor, Michigan, June 4th.

	Cancer survivors shared their joy in a special cake-cutting ceremony at the sixth annual Cancer Survivors' Day Celebration
	Local high school groups performed swing dance routines, and Swing City Dance Studio gave swing dance lessons
	Gilda's Club Choir of Metropolitan Detroit led a sing-along.
	Wendy Dolan of U-M Health Promotions led a light exercise workout
	Cancer survivors created a "Life Reflections" collage that will decorate a Hope Chest in the U-M Cancer Center.
	Therapaws service dog, Sunday, greeted one-year cancer survivor Meagan Hayes.
