NEARLY 200 U-M PHYSICIANS ARE AMONG THE 'BEST DOCTORS IN AMERICA'

Ann Arbor, Mich - Nearly 200 physicians from the University of Michigan Health System are listed in The Best Doctors in America: 1999 Edition.Woodward/White, Inc., compiles the Best Doctor list every two years. Physicians are included on the list based on a survey of their peers. For the 1999 list, Woodward/White asked more than 30,000 doctors nationwide to rate the clinical abilities of physicians who work within their specialty.

The UMHS doctors selected for the latest list represent 34 specialties, from allery to urology.
