The following resources have been recommended by the Patient Education Resource Center.

Pain Control: Support for People With Cancer - opens as a .pdf
a booklet provided by The National Cancer Institute.

The web site CancerSymptoms.org (maintained by The The Oncology Nursing Society) has a section on pain which may be useful.

Another good resources is the book American Cancer Society's Guide to Pain Control: Understanding and Managing Cancer Pain. This is available for checkout at the PERC.
