Childhood Cancer

When a child is diagnosed with cancer, the journey that lies ahead can seem overwhelming. Issues related to childhood cancer survivorship differ from those of adults. Certainly, there are challenges during the treatment phase. Additionally, as more and more pediatric cancer patients live beyond five and ten years, these cancer survivors are displaying symptoms of what has come to be called late effects.
