The Coach Carr Cancer Fund has now become an endowed fund at the University of Michigan Comprehensive Cancer Center. Funds raised are deposited into a protected account, and the ever-growing interest generated will be directed back to a variety of patient programs. Last year's funds are helping to support the new Strength for Caring family program, which teaches family members how to:

  • Provide the comprehensive at-home care many cancer patients require after hospitalization.
  • Cope with the emotional, physical and financial stresses involved in providing care.
  • Juggle the demands of caregiving, family life and careers.
