The purpose of this information guide is to help patients
newly diagnosed with prostate cancer and their families to
find sources of information and support. This list is not meant to be comprehensive, but rather to
provide starting points for information seeking. The materials
can be found at the Patient Education Resource Center of the
University of Michigan Comprehensive Cancer Center located
on the B1 level.

different treatment option for early stage prostate cancer and guides patients
in deciding on the option that is best for them.

The site includes a wealth of information about risk factors, screening, diagnosis and treatment of
prostate cancer. Especially useful is the ability to download the full text of the organization's
publications.
