There is hope, innovation and support available for those with gynecologic cancers here at the U-M Comprehensive Cancer Center.Patient Care and TreatmentThe Gynecologic Oncology Program follows a team approach to care. Our patients have their situation discussed not only by our gynecologic oncologists, but also by team surgeons and pathologists. By having everyone involved, a personalized treatment plan is developed. In most cases, this discussion happens the same day as the appointment. We also offer a Breast & Ovarian Risk Evaluation Program for those diagnosed with ovarian cancer -- or for those concerned with they are at risk for this type of cancer.
