January is Cervical Cancer Awareness Month

About 9,700 women will be diagnosed in the United States with cervical cancer this year. But thanks in large part to early detection through screening and a new vaccine now available, cervical cancer is a disease that can be almost entirely prevented. January is Cervical Cancer Awareness Month. Learn more about the latest treatments and research advances. If you have individual questions about cervical cancer, call the Cancer AnswerLine at 800-865-1125 and speak directly to a cancer nurse or visit their web page.
