Brain Tumor Research Fund

The Brain Tumor Research Fund supports aspects of our clinical research program. It also supports certain aspects of our educational program, and at times it has supported clinical activites that are not supported by clinical revenues.

We welcome donations in any amount to this fund. They can be marked to honor any individual, living or deceased. In addition to simple donations, patients, families, and others have contributed in the following way:

  • Motorcycle outing
  • Swimathon
  • Golf outings
  • Donations earmarked for a specific research activity

Donations to the Brain Tumor Research Fund have special tax advantages. Your gift is considered a gift to the University of Michigan and is tax deductible as provided by law. Gifts from Michigan residents qualify for a credit on Michigan state income tax.

A letter of acknowledgment will be sent to all donors by the Department of Neurology and the University of Michigan Gift Receiving Office. In addition, for gifts in honor or in memory of an individual, the names of donors are shared with that person or their family.

If you wish to consider donating by check, please talk to your neuro-oncologist or contact Pat Wilson (734-936-7910). Checks can be made out to Brain Tumor Reseach Fund and mailed to:
