Every year, the U-M Comprehensive Cancer Center brings a large team of University staff, faculty, family, friends, fans and breast cancer survivors to walk and celebrate survivorship in the annual Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk. This walk, sponsored by the American Cancer Society, raises funds for breast cancer research and support programs nationwide, including many vital efforts taking place at the U-M Cancer Center.

For 2012, the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk takes place at Washtenaw Community College. Teams are forming now!. Visit the American Cancer Society's Making Strides Against Breast Cancer event page to register for -- or donate to -- the Ann Arbor event.
