Yearly Highlights

In Fiscal Year 2008, the U-M Comprehensive Cancer Center provided more services to more patients and families than ever before with:

  • 82,400 outpatient visits
  • 41,057 infusion treatments
  • 3,600 courses of radiation treatment
  • 3,786 radiation consults provided at University Hospital and seven off-campus locations
  • 4,142 adult cancer patients admitted to University Hospital - more than any other hospital in Michigan

 

The top five cancers diagnosed and treated at U-M: melanoma, prostate cancer, breast cancer, blood cancers and lung cancer
