The Breast Cancer Summit 2013

Breast cancer survivors, caregivers, and members of the general public concerned about breast cancer and risk reduction are welcome to attend. The summit will be free for participants.

If you're a breast cancer survivor, caregiver or anyone concerned about breast cancer and risk reduction, join us for this free one-day event. Experts from the University of Michigan Comprehensive Cancer Center will speak on topics such as:
  • cancer prevention
  • screening
  • treatment
  • research
  • survivorship
  • advocacy
  • genetic risk
TENTATIVE AGENDA:

9 - 10am     Registration

10am-12N     Session 1: "How Far We've Come" -- The Continum of Breast Cancer: Prevention/Risk Reduction, Screening and Treatment

12N - 1:30     Lunch, vendor tables, and "ask the expert" stations

1:30 - 3pm     Session 2: "Where We're Going and How You Can Help" - Research, Survivorship, and Advocacy

Hosted by the University of Michigan Comprehensive Cancer Center with support from the Mid-Michigan Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure and the University of Michigan School of Public Health.
