Finding Your Rhythm

Over 400 survivors, families and friends attended our 14th annual Cancer Survivors' Day Celebration on June 22nd at Washtenaw Community College's Morris Lawrence Building. Christine Stevens of UpBeat Drum Circles provided an energizing and unifying experience in rhythm and music for health. Each guest was provided with a drum, tambourine or musical shaker to use for joining the musical celebration. Following the presentation, guest enjoyed light refreshments, information tables, a lively band and another opportunity to participate in drumming. The afternoon concluded with door prizes.
