This entry form will need to be returned to the Gallery Coordinator at least twelve (12) weeks prior to the show date. The UM-CCC reserves the right of determining the final exhibition schedule. You will need to submit photos or slides of your art and an artist statement. Return the form, photos/slides and artist statement to: University of Michigan How many works of art can I submit?Artists can submit up to 25 pieces of artwork (space permitting) for individual shows. For group shows, artists may submit up to 6 pieces. The UMCCC reserves the right to eliminate pieces to allow for the maximum number of exhibitors in the space available.What type of art can I submit?All media are accepted, within the display capacity of the gallery. Contact the Gallery coordinator at (734) 615-4012 to discuss any concerns you have regarding the eligibility of your art for inclusion in a Voices Art Gallery show. The UMCCC reserves the right to decline art that cannot be conveniently displayed.5Art Content Guidelines *All artwork presented for exhibition in the Voices Art Gallery is selected by the Gallery coordinator and the Voices Art Gallery committee. Based on the following criteria, as well as the gallery's mission statement, all exhibitions are designed to be aesthetically accessible to the general public.The major criteria used in this selection process are as follows:
Exhibitions seeking exception to any of the above listed criteria must be approved on a case by case basis. *These guidelines are in accordance to University of Michigan Health Systems as designed by Gifts of Art. The Gallery CommitteeThe Voices Art Gallery Committee consists of patients, families and staff. Members are carefully chosen from diverse backgrounds to assure differing points of view on art pieces.
