Every year, the Candle Lighting for Hope and Remembrance takes place beneath the canopy of the Cancer Center's main entrance.
Music plays a very important part in the event. Darrin Patterson (center), an employee of the Cancer Center, sings a song he wrote.
Prior to the program, as well as afterward, there are resource tables available to provide information as well as support.
Candles burn in memory of those who have died from cancer.
Candles and flowers make up the decorations for this event, symbolizing both hope and remembrance.
