Volunteering

Every day, in countless ways, volunteers are making a difference at the U-M Comprehensive Cancer Center.

From greeting visitors to assisting in our offices to helping meet the needs of many families, volunteers contribute their time and talents all across the Cancer Center.

Working alongside the faculty and staff, volunteers at the U-M Cancer Center play an integral role in our mission to conquer cancer. Volunteers from all walks of life come together as a caring group, combining their compassion, skills and talent to make a difference in the lives of our patients.

Whether your talents are artistic, organizational or clerical, we need you. If you are a gifted communicator with warmth and compassion to spare, we need you. Whether volunteering on your own, with a friend, or in a group we need you.

Regardless of your assignment, you can play a critical role in our mission to conquer cancer. And as we hear again and again, serving at the Cancer Center benefits the volunteer too -- creating lasting friendships and meaningful memories. As one volunteer put it, "you give a little, but you get a lot."
