Patients are seen by all disciplines in one appointment to expedite diagnosis and determination of therapeutic recommendations. The most common forms of lymphoma are hodgkins and non-hodgkins lymphoma. The clinic's address and information about making appointments is on the make an appointment web page. Why choose to get your treatment here? The Multidisciplinary Lymphoma Clinic has been designed to efficiently review and provide recommendations for patients who have Hodgkin's or Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma which is newly diagnosed or is a recurrence. Our goal is to make the visit as informative, efficient and convenient as possible while providing a coordinated, compassionate team approach. The clinic has been designed to review each case using the expertise of several specialists who will come to a recommendation regarding treatment as quickly as possible. The specialists include a Hematologist/Oncologist, a Radiation Oncologist, a Surgical Oncologist, a Registered Nurse and a Social Worker. The visit includes review of x-rays, CAT scans, and MRI's, Pathology review, and a history/physical exam. Each case is reviewed at our Lymphoma Conference to develop a coordinated management plan. The Lymphoma Program develops and participates in clinical trials of new and innovative treatments for which each patient is evaluated as appropriate. Patients and their referring physicians are contacted by phone the next day to discuss treatment recommendations and a summary letter is sent to the referring physician.
Diagnosis: The Multidisciplinary Lymphoma
Clinic meets Tuesday mornings to evaluate new and recurrent
lymphomas. Complete staging capabilities include CAT scanning,
