Lisa Coussens, Ph.D., UCSF Helen Diller Family Comprehensive Cancer Center.
Area of research: the role of inflammation in cancer development.

Presenting:
"Inflammation and Cancer: Insights into Organ-specific Regulation of Cancer Development by Leukocytes."

Riccardo Dalla-Favera, M.D., Herbert Irving Cancer Center, Columbia University School of Medicine.
Area of research: Genetic lesions involved in the pathogenesis of human B cell tumors.

Presenting:
"Molecular Genetics of B-Cell Lymphoma".

William G. Kaelin, Jr., M.D., Dana Farber Cancer Institute.
Area of research: The function of the pVHL tumor suppressor protein in kidney and other cancers.

Presenting:
"The von Hippel-Lindau Tumor Suppressor Protein: Insights into Oxygen Sensing and Cancer"


Dr. Kaelin will be sponsored by The Tsung Hsein and Shu Yung Wu Lectureship in Cancer Research.

William Pao, M.D., Ph.D, Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center.
Area of research: Lung cancer - mechanisms of development and insights into new treatment approaches.

Owen Witte, M.D., University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) Medical School.
