Patient Care and TreatmentRead more about Cervix / Cervical Cancer in the Health Library -- part of UofMHealth.org's website. The Gynecologic Oncology Program at the University of Michigan Comprehensive Cancer Center provides diagnosis and treatment to those with all types of gynecologic cancer, including cervical cancer / cancer of the cervix. The Multidisciplinary Gynecologic Oncology Clinic follows a team approach to care. Our patients have their situation discussed not only by our gynecologic oncologists, but also by team surgeons and pathologists. By having everyone involved, a personalized treatment plan is developed. In most cases, this discussion happens the same day as the appointment.
